Chapterly reminder that Takeda "goonbrain" Super can not write a coherent story to save his life. He is just decent enough at drawing porn. That's literally it. I know manga readers tend to run defense for bad writing with their headcannons but there is nothing you can do here.

I honestly think Takeda Super was doing a good job writing a great story until this arc (most recent 3 chapters), which is admittedly pretty damn horrible as of now.

Can go into more detail if anyone wants to hear it, but personally I think the retcon made a lot of sense and was the right choice in terms of storytelling (and not just an excuse to extend the story and draw more smut). For example, there's a lot of subtle tension and drama in the final page of Chapter 88, where Shigemi doesn't even stop to acknowledge Agawa as she walks past her.

That said, I'm more attached to the OG finished series right now because I think Takeda Super messed up really badly with these last 3 chapters. It's not good writing, and I can't defend it.

Still waiting for Agawa's glorious return.

Agreed.... i must say it isn't a story for everyone i get it. Even i don't like this kind of lifestyle or mindset but it is genuinely a good story.... i too got my hopes up at the end of chapter 88 i was like 'damn, i wonder what's the next development are' but these 3 chapters are a total sh*tshow.....

Agawa is kind, cheerful and wholesome (despite her being a slut), but she doesn't consciously understand what she wants cuz romance is completely new to her. She's not even sure if she likes Gotou back right now, and so her solution is to reject Gotou's desire for romance by enforcing her casual sex boundaries to keep the status quo.

It's tragic because we all crave emotional intimacy, but Agawa is also afraid of it and prefers to keep things casual until she realized her hookups don't hit the same ever since she slept with Gotou. More recently, we see Agawa feeling unfulfilled sleeping with Erika (who seems to have a one-sided sex crush for Agawa). Agawa's growing as a character, and this transition period has been confusing and irritating for her.

This manga is goated for me, which is why I'm so critical of the current arc. Takeda Super has written much better, and until he returns to form, I'm turning off my brain and enjoying Kiyomi's boobs with Gotou and everyone else.
