If the story is going to move forward, it needs to be Agawa saying it, but honestly? I've lost interest in Agawa lately so I kinda just want the Shigechi ending to happen.

And honestly, i dont think that will happen in a while, the agawa part i mean, i feel she needs to reach rock bottom, and even if she does, considering that it seems that gotou is accepting the fact that agawa does not like him, and even seems to have some resentment, their eventual relationship i think is really far.

When it comes to shigemi i think is posible but not as an ending, ironicaly there is a pattern with agawa, karma if you will, ever since the threesome.

After the threesome agawa goes with yuki to piss of gotou, however in the next arc akito is introduced and we all know what happend. Essentialy in both cases gotou/agawa go and screw their childhood friend who clearly likes them romanticaly while the other is clearly jealous about it, the diference is that agawa did it with malice and gotou didnt.

There are other examples as well:

• Agawa begins setting boundaries with Gotou and tells him she won’t always be available for him anymore, she also spends summer break with another guy while holding onto his arm. Yet by the end of summer, Gotou is the one shown with Shina on one arm and Akito on the other. Later when Agawa asks for sex Gotou tells her that his schedule is full and that she has to wait, essentialy Gotou ends up mirroring the very same boundaries that Agawa originally established.
• Akito only ended up sleeping with Gotou because Agawa provoked her by saying she was going to steal him away, yet later Shigemi says essentially the exact same thing to Agawa herself: that she’s going to take Gotou away from her.

This lets call it Agawa´s Karmic cicle happens every time she does something that hurts someone (Especially Gotou) she ends up expiriencing the same thing, the diference is that she takes it really bad. You, me and honesly everyone that reads the manga, but I think in the erased chapters one of Agawas friends said that their relationship isnt going to happen because of her, and honeslty takeda super needs to lock in if he wants anyone to see agawa not even as best girl but as a contender, gotou has way better chemestry with shigemi, has the same pervy neuron with kiyomi, akito geniunly likes him and even fucking shina seems less toxic than agawa.

Honestly shigemi fits gotou's personality better he is meek and indecisive and largely thinks love is sex where as white has a dominating personality more forward and seems to know what she wants from gotou but super hasn't really given us any hints as to what she really wants nor why she wants it.

As of now, yeah shigemi fits gotou better, when it comes to his love is sex views i think is getting better and shigemi is helping, when it comes to shigemis reasoning i have some theories. But my main one is that she sees a bit of herself in him, in a way both agawa an inukai have treated them somewath similarly and maybe that is the reason why she cares for him, also well sex she and agawa had the same problem of not getting satisfied, and it seems that she is struguling to keep up with gotous pace so thers that.
