it's because her fire spirit level is one of the highest and the spirit make it hard for her to apply another spirit. She can only make contract for other spirit with level as high as the fire spirit.

In the end, i feel the reason the hero(ine) boot out the mc is kinda justified from her side, not if you look at the bigger picture tough. Perhaps there's some shenanigan between the demon lord and the humanity side?
And after reading the latest update of the WN, i cant help but pity the hero(ine), somehow

Well, the priest clearly doesn't want to stay with them and is always looking down on them for being weak. He is really strong after all, so to him it's like babysitting so he probably hated this mission anyway. Dragging along like that while being sarcastic, even if it's for their own good both side will just keep annoying each other. The hero/ine already got mental issue so that just made it worse.

We'll see what will happen in the next chapter, but I want the priest out (he don't have to continue with this stupid group) and form his own "Demon King Killing Party", and let this upstart be slapped hard by himself (and finish as the demon king boytoy )
