Eyo, I pulled this up a few hours ago and got around to reading it, to then be bummed when I thought I caught up, just to get to a newly uploaded chapter.
Thank you for reviving this, I was really starting to get into it!
Thanks for the TLs, I hardly remember the plot...but I think the sum was something like the priest didn't get picked and needs to essentially pave the road to let the Hero party win? And this priest girl was a part of the plot to fill in where needed since the main priest is working in the shadows?? I believe I enjoyed it, so glad you brought this back.
The kingdom summoned a hero to counter the threat of demon king. Despite the hero's adamant request to have girl-only party members because she's a high school girl and feels uncomfortable around guys, the church still managed to push their strongest inquisitor in under the pretext of "prophecy." All other members have high potential but still low-level noobs, so Ares took charge of guiding them to gain experience in the most efficient way... that was until the hero couldn't bear with it anymore and fired him from the team. Since the Bishop didn't allow him to abort the mission, Ares decided to recruit a newbie priestess and planted her into the party as the mole. Latest development is their encounter with the fanatic inquisitor Gregorio, who occasionally went rogue to follow his "god's revelation," which threatened to throw a wrench into Ares' plan.
One of the few times I had to reread the entire thing since I remembered almost nothing except: Main character was the priest, the hero was actually a girl, and the priest had to bend over backwards because the party is incompetent.
