to be fair it kinda dont, it's just a sub plot that lies in wait and is waiting to creep up on you later.
it's always going to be the happy go lucky adventure of a OP demigod in human disguise traveling the world and doing stuff with his slowly growing party of friends and potential wives.

from what i remember he promises to marry the girls in the party ( or at least some of them ) once they grow up in a moment of weakness
(and months of pestering from a certain girl with mind control powers )

tho a lot of it was also down to getting the other sister some confidence in herself, She believes everyone in the world( him included) hates people with black hair when it just so happens to be his type
bad news bears however, she turns out to be a yandere once she do get that confidence.
She dont actually show that to him as far as i know, but when talking to people who she perceives is getting in her way ( of finishing her mission /meeting him again as soon as possible )
she becomes a pretty scary lady and does some pretty crazy stuff when she is on her own or only with her sister.
( the fact she and everyone in the party is super strong by then from MC training them while traveling sure doesn't help making her any less scary )

@KamiKira00 If I recall it well, the only ones that realized that Satou is the "Mysterious Hero" are his girls (except for Tama and Pochi) so, for the baron his help was more on a diplomatic sense (regarding the giants), investigation (regarding the demon) and most of the battle was done by the slaves at his command. But not any legendary powers on his part.

@mickhail Yes. He is friend of giants, dryads. Is skilled swordsman (he was pretty famous in giant village). He is skilled magic craftsman(don't forget all those tools he made).
Forget strength and skills. For marriage, only the fact that he is strength of giants is important. If he would marry into their family, that would mean that they would enter friendly relationship with giants(giants came to help only because of MC). Which to them would be extremely worth it.
