So 3 years into a famine that makes no sense since regions outside of this are fine so why did noone import food? Also at 3 years noone would be alive soon if food was that critical. I never like the forced worldbuilding to make things happen. Also if I was MC I'd be waaay more concerned with speedily getting rid of that demon.
