He transferred his last breathe for Marcille's body when fighting Winged Lion, so I guess he's long gone since then.Spoiler for the end of the main story (though reading this bible is already a spoiler huh)
I wonder what happened to him after the end of the main story, we see Yaad (I think) at the end trying to wrangle Laios into doing his kingly duties, but nothing of Thistle
He transferred his last breathe for Marcille's body when fighting Winged Lion, so I guess he's long gone since then.
Especially when the Lion had eaten Thistle's crystalized desire to live.
He might not be revived like Falyn considering his... mental unstability. Just my guess
We saw Yaad feeding him soup on the surface, his body is alive and it reacts a little when he heard the word king, he's alive but is suffering like Mithrun. Whether he will make it or not is unknown.
Last we see of him isSpoiler for the end of the main story (though reading this bible is already a spoiler huh)

Now that the entire manga has been completed, I can answer this:Spoiler for the end of the main story (though reading this bible is already a spoiler huh)
I wonder what happened to him after the end of the main story, we see Yaad (I think) at the end trying to wrangle Laios into doing his kingly duties, but nothing of Thistle
I don't think that's entirely why I think it's because Yaad, who he thinks is Delgal, thanks him and basically tells him he's done enough. That's the point at which Thistle no longer has anything left to live for and dies. If Yaad/Delgal or the Golden Kingdom citizens had asked him to keep watch over him, he might have found the will to live, like Mithrun did.Last we see of him is
Yaad trying to feed him after demon's defeat. It's implied he passed shortly after because the demon ate everything and he had no desire to live.
