It would suck a lot if it was something simple and doesn't tell us more of her back story, but I did look into how split personality work and this is more like it. If said person did have a different self they would act the opposite to how they normal would, like being shy to being out spoken or if they didn't show romantic interest the other side would show all of it. The other you would just do the opposites of what you would normal do in same problem as yourself. Someone I was also talking to about this part of the story told me it could be like an fallen angel side instead of a demon. It still fits due to her beaning an angel and not trying to make up a story that would fit for plot for her back story. what is your thoughts?

If the author was planning to do that then there needs to be more scenario where she wasn't acting like herself or it felt like she acting vay too differently, you know what I mean?

The premise would absolutely work if it was properly eluded to before.

But speaking on the fallen angel angle (huge tangent incoming) it's possible that Shan Shan probably did something that caused her to have to go Earth because of the small tidbits about how she like a princess and the fact she had quite a sheltered life. It's almost like she was kind of forced to go by some circumstance rather than her own curiosity.

I am of the opinion that the split personality characterisation would introduced way too late if it is only revealed after like 100 chapters but I do really want to see more exploration of shan shan's backstory.
