Star Wars Outlaws.

Imagine a game that promotes itself as letting you play as an outlaw, but you can't attack or steal from civilians (which is a basic thing you can do in most open-world RPGs). The enemies are also dumb and blind at the same time. You can literally sprint in front of them and if you are fast enough they wouldn't even raise an alarm. The gameplay bugs and the "stealth" mechanics are so horrendous it's essentially a scam that Ubisoft is charging 70 dollars for this shit.

It is truly a fitting successor for the next quadruple-A game after Skulls and Bones brought to you by Ubislop.

a fumble of a franchise so bad it's probably already talked about in economy books.
crazy how far Disney in general has been able to devaluate this generational event.
it's really funny how a franchise that a decade or so ago could slap it's name on anything and be an instant hit has been reduced into bargain bin slop.

oh right the game, I still remember how a gaming outlet caught some flak for ranking the game a 7-8.

fair enough, then again Lucas himself said multiple time after the prequels that he stopped caring about star wars and let othe rppl kinda do whatever with his franchise.

anyways, I'm guessing that now this game compared to more recent star wars games, is actually bearable.

star trek infinite, essentially it was a total conversion mod for stelalris but released by paradox games and it costed actual money.
support for the game ended after barely a year after release. the game itself was fine, if a little bare bones (I mean, it was build on stellaris, even had a very similar district and pops system and all). personally I think it's cause all the star trek fans were already too busy already playing total conversion mods and all the stellaris fans equally busy playing stelalris.
just look at the trailer and explain to me how it is different than a really in-depth mod for stellaris.

unknown 9, game was given out to anyone who bought an nvdia product as well (I don't remember which one specifically).
game was from what I've seen, essentially assasin's creed but set in india, with about the same level of polish and bug test.

I legitimately can't think of a game that didn't deserve to flop unless it was purposely screwed over by the parent company out of the developers control.
Simcity 2013 is an example of this, where EA forced Maxis to integrate anti-consumer practices and deliver a rushed, undercooked product.
But then again, regardless of how the product got bad, if it's bad it simply doesn't deserve to sell well, technically speaking. So maybe every flop is deserved to an extent, since its success starts and stops with the fans.
