Fun fact, the moonfolks are doomed to die out and are an awful solution to any population crisis. Each partnership between moonfolk requires 2 people and produces 2 offspring, thus it's impossible for them to grow. If any moonfolk were not to reproduce they'd thus be a permanent loss.

There's a reason why the replacement rate for us humans is supposed to be about above 2. Not everyone will be able to have children, and thus that needs to be compensated for somehow.
