His mom or someone in his bloodline was a vampire and the dad and mom made this game to tell him that. Or the fact he's a she in the game could be that he have two souls in his body and the other is a female vampire

Chapter 1 page 40; After he logs into the game when he finished character creation, the scene goes to a computer terminal and it said it was restructuring his body. Some kind of genetic correction. This is also why he is locked in the game, probably to not interrupt the process.

He’s became a she in real life after she staying logged in for three months straight. After logging out, Crim/Kou has to go through therapy because she couldn’t move for so long while being logged in. Honestly, I really hope the manga gets to the part where Kou goes to school in her new body!
