Always a trustworthy offer..."Get it for cheap, no strings attached!"
That's just false. You need to know what makes a good sword, which is a different skill from using one."If you can't use one, you can't make one."
Being a blacksmith is dangerous now?"She wouldn't want me to take up a dangerous job."
Being a blacksmith is dangerous now?
if dealing with superheated metals in close proximity for hours and pummeling said heated metals for hours ain't dangerous then trying to dry hump a polar ain't dangerous either.Being a blacksmith is dangerous now?
The forge is dangerous. The furnace is dangerous. Superheated metal is dangerous. Working with said metal is dangerous. The tools are dangerous. And of course, they're making weapons.
Those are all controllable factors. It's not like hunting or fighting where death is a much greater risk, and you can control the dangers less. Toxic fumes and stuff is a more modern concern, especially considering some practices, such as make-up, wasn't exactly always healthy back then.if dealing with superheated metals in close proximity for hours and pummeling said heated metals for hours ain't dangerous then trying to dry hump a polar ain't dangerous either.
not to mention all the soot, filed dust, and many more toxic fumes you can inhale during the process.
Not being appropriate is a different issue. It is entirely justifiable for them to tell the princess that this isn't an appropriate line of work for her.
It is controllable but that just indicate that it is dangerous because there are factors that need to meet controllable standards. Those are all controllable factors.
then it'll Isekai Tensei Kansha for youI wish MMOs could actually be like this. Maybe someday when I'm old and unable to play games like that anymore.![]()
Mining is way more dangerous than just about all jobs, not just smithing, so I don't think that's comparable. Being a skilled blacksmith has always had rather high prestige as well, especially in Japan. Mining, on the other hand, was where you sent slaves, criminals, and people who couldn't get any other jobs.It is controllable but that just indicate that it is dangerous because there are factors that need to meet controllable standards.
Like mining was a dangerous job because nobody ever knew that respiratory hazards was such a biatch.
And that is true... still doesn't dismiss what I meant. xDMining is way more dangerous than just about all jobs, not just smithing, so I don't think that's comparable.
