i love that griefing and ruining a kid's fun is the line for every games. Like sure adults can duke it out however you like but you don't get kids involved
Match or whole tourney arc? 10+ chapters for a single match seems excessive.Gud news everyone.

Griefing is almost certainly against the rules. Even when PK is allowed, intentionally sabotaging your teammates is almost never allowed in any game DURING competition. And it would be terrible writing if the author said it was allowed because this is supposed to be a game world, allowing griefing in a game world is terrible because it will very quickly stop being fun for most people. Is it even against the rules? The game seems pretty "do what you want".
Plus even if it is not allowed you'd have to prove it and judging from the way they are going about it it wouldnt be super easy to prove. Worst they would get is probably a warning, if even that.
I mean...it IS just a game. They aren't really terrible people.Really not pleased with this match as a whole. Especially now that they're on a 'redemption arc' path. Why do Japanese stories love to make terrible people, then turn them good after they do actual damage, and have them suffer no consequences?
This whole game was made for Crim though. Its probably not as important to the parents if the game does well as long as it helps their child in whatever the heck they have planned for Crim/Kou.Griefing is almost certainly against the rules. Griefing is a sign that you're a pretty bad person. Because to intentionally grief someone you have to decide that you are going to spend your time intentionally ruining people's fun. It's one thing to grief your friends because then it's just a 'joke'. But when you decide "Nah I'm just going to go around ruining people's day for lulz" then you're a pretty terrible person on the inside.I mean...it IS just a game. They aren't really terrible people.

But the fact the world is meant to be "real" to players including such advanced NPCs it makes more sense that at worst the PK'ers would only be banned from future competitions not outright banned from the game since that would be like killing them in the game if they cant play more which seems excessive for a competition violation. Thats like killing a sport player if they cheated in a match...
I genuinely dont this its that massive an issue, can't lie. I like more anything goes if the world is meant to feel more real.
I really don't think its all that serious.Griefing is a sign that you're a pretty bad person. Also no the game is not meant to be 'real' it's supposed to have realism. We know it's not meant to be real because of remember the discussion about teaming and shady win methods? They are still holding to gamer etiquette.
And even if they weren't it's still the PKer's being terrible people without punishment regardless of 'etiquette'. Firstly they were PKer's, not PvP players. They weren't fighting other people ready to fight, they were ambushing random people to steal their stuff. Even though it's a 'legitimate style of play' if you want to talk "realism" that makes them bandits. Then after they got beat they slandered the MC with a bunch of lies and spread them in the news paper. And now they were griefing for no reason other than teh leader is pathetic. Letting them get away with all that from a writing perspective is saying "Despite all teh trouble it caused and how the characters in story straight up said they were doing wrong, it's not wrong."
I feel otherwise, "personal attack" is like good morning in MOBA. it's "you do it, we do it back" (I'm SEA so It's biased tho)I really don't think its all that serious.
You aren't a bad person simply for trolling in a video game. It's...just a game. That's taking things way too personally. Being racist/sexist/homophobic/etc to people in game? Sure, bad person since that's getting personal/personal attacks. That goes beyond the game.
But just trolling/pk'ing? Annoying sure but bad person? Nah.
