I watched the anime for this case arround 2008-2009 and I had always remembered feeling unsatisfied with the explanation for the trick to make the body fall on its own ("He cut the string with some mechanism" that's the whole explanation). Now more than 10 years later I decided to check it out in the manga and I feel equally unsatisfied

If I was Conan, I would've been nervous trying to do a deductions with a room full of reporters. One deduction mistake will kill Kogoro's career.

On pg 4, Conan seemed to know right away that Takagi was a police detective.
