thanks for translating this sequal! I'm really enjoying getting more divci valka even though it's a pity that it's going to spoil so many of the characters from the original series having a happy ending, like Sara . Jan Capek though I don't mind going out like a magnificent bastard, even though his daughter trying to kill him doesn't really make sense. I hope Jan Jiskra or a least his children get out of this.
Also it doesn't make sense that sarka, after all that she has been through, would let klara become a female soldier/band follower. Sarka only did it because she was an orphan and happened to be picked up by the taborites . It also doesn;t make sense that Jan hunyardi would let his daughter, even if not one of his heirs, campaign with him and be on the battle lines.
But whatever it's not that big a deal.
I am a bit disappointed thta Klara and that thick eyebrows guy would so eagerly give up their christian faith and become pagans. I suppose it did happen but back in those days most people had much higher levels of religious fervor as the series has shown so far.
also, I had no idea that the turks had already conquered all of the balkans up to the beginning of hungary before managing to conquer constantinople. That must mean that constantinople was basically enseiged that whole time. How did they survive so many years? Even if they could receive supplies by sea, with no support or resources from the surrounding countryside , I can't believe they were able to keep up production enough to prevent a naval blockade all those years.
