All humans are pretty much huge from a cat’s point of view, so a difference in size isn’t really significant to them. Rugged face? Meaningless to a cat. What’s important is attitude and mobility. They’ll feel more in danger if you look swift than if you look slow, because their survival is based on quick reflexes. Similarly, they’ll feel more threatened if you’re trying to approach them while being sly, since that’s exactly how they hunt.
