In this chapter the mushrooms that are introduced are...

The Freckled Dapperling (Echinoderma asperum) for the one wielding a morning-star. A warty shroom that has a rubber smell. It went through many names and some say it's poisonous- giving alcohol intolerance, and others say it's edible. It's a very weird mushroom that has been confused with many others species.

The ones popping out of the ground are Hygroscopic Earthstars (Astraeus hygrometricus). These puff mushrooms are endemic to many parts of the world, but for some reason the ones in South Asia are edible - North American varieties are not. In Japan they are eaten as a summer delicacy in the Tōhoku region when scavengged young.

And for the ones that were invisible(?), the Irogawari name sent me to a bunch of different edible species of color-changing Bolete mushrooms (like the scarlet Boletus rhodocarpus). Their flesh turns blue when cut.
In Italian, the Boletus mushroom is colloquially called "porcino" - little pig. That's why their mask look like pig snouts, but it also may be a little foreshadowing for what mushroom may be the big guy.
