The author wanted a true/fated lobe story yet what she created is a representation of how weak a woman is and how they can't live without a man. Japan reaaaaally needs a strong women movement to change their toxic culture and this ending (and how many generic ecchi harem) is not helping them.

Sometimes, I think to myself that the canon ending is when Natsuo hug Rui when he went to America to see her. That scene is way more powerful than this godawfull ending that make Rui seems like a weak women and Natsuo seems like a bastard that can't be faithful for atleast a year.

But hey, atleast Rui and Natsuo are pursuing their dream now...

Jesus... When Rui cancelled the wedding i didn't even marginally panic because i figured the timing went to shit because of the coma, and then it just stayed that way due to inertia. I didn't even THINK that he would choose and marry a fucking coma patient over the love of his life and the mother of his child. I can't even blame the MC because he stopped being a character.
At least him getting a 3p would be nice even if its both super unrealistic and REALLY not deserved.

The bonus chapter... Well, it tried to make things right but the damage to the story is already done.

@kiero13 what I wanted to point out by that "weak willed men" comment, is that Natsuo went on and off all series long (thanks to the author) between Rui and Hina (hell, he at some point was with the drama club girl) despite saying for so long he only loved Hina and how much he went through to make her love/accept him at the begining of the series. It took her to be in a coma for so long and Rui to pull off the marriage for him to go back at square one with his feelings. If that isn't weak willed I don't know what to tell you.

Fucked ending. I understand the devotion, but for the author to use a cheap fucking guilt trip caused by a fucking car accident is like "I need an excuse to shock people and derail the whole thing".

It was a "decent" story, a bit too dragged for the sake of new chapters, but Natsu and Rui was the real pair, the one that really worked hard to be there. And some of the things are actually pretty well spot on. I come from a long distance relationship and I fucking know how bloody hard it is to keep it up. Some times it works, like in my case, and some other it doesn't. But yeah when you meet after a long separation you argue like hell just because. And for that reason, that reason alone, I feel that the couple really gave their all and found an equilibrium.

Then comes the deus ex machina, the "plot", and a car accident kills every fucking effort of 270 something chapters. This is stupid, man. Really stupid.

I'll be trying to avoid these kind of Manga in future. I can't explain how utterly disappointed i am in this ending. Its like the author deliberately fucked our hopes and threw them into trash. Up untill the last moment i was like wtf is with these plot twists. I can't explain how hurt i am but i know you guys will undoubtedly understand it cause you were also in this trip with me. I really had a sense of connection with Rui because most of her habits are like mine. Well nothing can be done now. I'll recover in like about a week or so. Now I'll be really specific about reading these kinds of stuff from now on.

Okay, up to last 20 or so chapter this was a pretty enjoyabel manga, yeah a bit of unnecesery drama but still pretty realistic portrail of relationships between mc and Rui. I don't know what or who hit author on the head to make them do this kind of ending but it rightfully takes a place right next to Go Toubun with that shitty ending. There I was dissapointed, but here it's just laughable how cliche badly this is written oh well, I wonder if Kanojo, Okarishimasu will make this a holy trio, hm.
