The way they were talking at the beginning I thought this dress maker guy wasn't coming to the country but yet here he is?

The employee will lose a little more than just a tongue, when the ML knows what happened

That was pitiful. Why would she want to keep doing business with that bank after the poor experiences previously and now? Noble or commoner, she should take her business (and money) elsewhere if she feels she's being treated disrespectfully and inappropriately. By throwing her faux nobility weight around, she will only gain equally faux respect.

It's a big city, so there's no way that would be the only bank around. Plus it's not even some exclusive nobles-only bank, which you'd need to use if you don't want to be mocked by other nobles, because she was taken to the commoners' waiting room. I just don't get it. It's like she wants to punish that particular bank and show them who's the boss now. It's utterly pointless. The relationship between the bank and her will always remain strained, so it would be much better to switch to another bank and start with a clean slate. There ought to be one bank in the city that would see beyond her old reputation, especially when her first act is to deposit money, not ask for a loan.

If there was more than one bank she’d have gone to multiple in the early chapters. The fact that a high ranking noble runs the bank also means that the main function of the bank is actually a means of power manipulation more than a method of attaining profits So there may be a governmental monopoly involved.
I personally think it would be far better to just let the fool dig his grave, earn enough to become a valuable client once again, and leave after citing his initial rudeness. If the bank wasn’t clearly a political institution of power I’d even consider making my own, but the simple act of withdrawal at the right time would cripple them. Banks never have enough liquid cash to handle everyone withdrawing more than what is expected because the majority of it is tied up in investments, so if the bank is suddenly low on cash it sparks a frenzy of other customers trying to get their money back before it goes under when they don’t have enough money to pay everyone.

Dunno how I feel about this series. Overall, it's like mediocre. I don't really like the ML, and why did the reporter, Ken, suddenly lose his glasses? The author keeps introducing new men but never fleshing out the old ones. Like, what does the ML do when he's not interacting or "protecting" the FL? Same for the merchant, the second ML? All the men in this are so bland...

Even the FL's maids don't really have much personality - usually at least is super loyal and bubbly, but they've just really turned into talk-pieces for the FL to explain her next move.

Thanks for all your hard work in scanlating, team!
