Do you mind sharing on some spoilers on what you read?

1. Like are his followers so overpowered compared to the rest of the world kinda like Overlord?
2. Will the girls fall blindly in love with him & he is too oblivious on their actions or finally do the deed with one of them?
3. Is the Goddess going to (hilariously) continue to troll him?

Had fun reading this since the guy clearly is way in over his head plus I can't believe how he hasn't bothered to learn to be literate let alone find a way to manage his income. Thanks for the chapter.

Up to the point that i read

Not really op in the same way as Overlord, but each of them do have a specific "cheat" skill that basically take over what current idea mc have, though he later get nominated as the Demon King of [Sloth] just for the perk that it improve the skills of his "vassals", there is others Demon Kings like Lust and Greed, up to the point that i read no romance but Sylphy do show to develop some "feelings", mistunderstanding keep going until he is interrogated by the hero, and yes the the goddess keep trolling him


As to why he is forced to reveal his desires at one point they are visited by the Hero, which have a sacred tool that is basically a liar detector, she ask questions to determine if he is dangerous, and it beep if is a lie, so yeah and for who is the hero the Hero is mc sister reincarnated, they don't know, after dude died, since he was her only family because their parents were dead, she took her life while calling him a liar for abandoning her, and regretting not being able to confess to him, not sure if manga gonna adapt it like this though, but backstory after their parents died, mc immediately dropped out studying to work and take care of his sister, the sister looking for something that would make him happy and repay him, learned that he have a fetish and get off on being insulted and treated like garbage, reason why she started to act the way chapter 1 shows, but dude misunderstood that as her hating on him and WN do have more parts where he remember the sister giving him shit, so it isn't that the sister is bad but is a whole misunderstanding, though he wasn't this dumb before dropping out

Fun and promising so far.

Only thing that bothers me is that I just have a feeling he's going to only have sex near the very end of the novel. Judging from the tags on Kakuyomu and the fact it seems like the LN will probably pass the mostly-stalled WN soon, my expectations for lewdness are low.

I mean, Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute doesn't feel like it'll have any sex, but the MC there is too focused on living his dream... whereas the one here at least wants sex.

I think the only drawback dragging him down in this isekai is his inability to read and write (and how he failed to learn it)
even with a cheat skill most other isekai protag has this basic ability as a starter skill or just for plot convenience sake

The dude reincarnated as a slime was also unable to read at first. But aside from that, you're right. Most mangakas don't focus on stuff like language learning for their isekai story.

Depends on how it is shown it could be at least tolerable. Hakai no Miko present the "future events" in pov of future people who hates and fear the protagonist or too distant future the facts got muddled . Their biases give unreliable narrator element to it.

I feel like it's straining disbelief a little. They clearly need each other (without the elf no food, and without the dwarf, no shelter) but they don't need the MC.

Oh, I guess there's the "he healed us" thing so they might feel like they ought to stick around for a while to repay him.

Maybe it's because I don't enjoy misunderstanding-based comedies anymore, but... I didn't find this anything other than annoying. I guess I get this is to be a parody, but the subversion are too on the nose.

Misunderstandings are occasionally funny, but only in small doses. The longer it stays the worse it gets. That's why I hate misunderstanding-caused drama. Because it could all be solved if the characters/author had more than one baincell.

The guy with smartphone also started out unable to read, but quickly got a girl to teach him to read. Because he wasn't too proud to ask.
Really, most of MC's problems come from him being too much of an adult and trying to keep up the facade.
