Huh. That's interesting. I think what you chose works in the context we're seeing (simpish veneration), barring someone figuring out the proper translation.

From what I've gathered from both his previous appearance and the raws of the next chapters, he's not doing this for himself, but rather for the empire's greater good. And he's about to run into a massive obstacle/threat that he can't deal with personally.
