Now that you mention it, he does look kind of like Dr. Willy, how did I not see that? Anyway next chapter he'll accidentally end up in Willy's hideout and destroy the robot thing in 2 panels, one for his punch and one for the robot exploding.
The five little sisters decided to play "Harem Household". Ash, you five-timing animal! XD
To sunder the earth to that extent by accident is pretty goofy, but I'm glad our wholesome positive-boy was responsible enough to take responsibility and check for collateral.
He's unfortunately stupid. I mean not wanting a mana circuit transplant...that was just ridiculous. He clearly has no idea how magic works in this universe. If he simply has no circuits he can't use mana. It annoys me that he's supposed to be trying to gain mana and yet has no idea how it works. Did he not pass the test? What exactly was in that test if "what is mana" or "how is mana used" etc questions were not at all covered. I mean why has no one brought up knowledge they clearly have if Dr. Wily is progressing research that was considered ages ago?
I can handle stupid MC's but not conveniently dense ones. I mean to even propose the idea should allow them to properly gauge his abilities and body yet they don't seem to want to help him at all. The whole world is hiding information from him that should be common place. This is like that MC who somehow doesn't know about the contraception available in his new world despite wanting to bang his willing girls constantly. That is 100 a censorship move and it sucks. If he was that perverted it would come up in conversation REAL quick.
If your going to make this kind of story don't make the MC's struggle rely on plot convenience. If "that would end the gag" is the answer, you have failed. It would have been fine if they were incapable of giving mana to the manaless or messing with it at all. The writer however decided to have it be possible but make the MC not want it because the MC has no actual idea why he has no mana... Not even a cost problem, he just refused ahead of time because "i want to achieve it using my own ability!" which would be fine if we were not talking about something he simply cannot do.
Wait? a MC who actually goes and checks and worries whether his OP attack hurt someone, instead of simply showing off and have his friends / companions look shocked and awed and bow before his nonsense? I approve.
"Let's split him in five!" Wtf is wrong with those kids???
I love how far they go into his overpowered-ness that they even added the friction. Though I'm actually betting if he used his own fingers instead of the wand the slash would have been worse, lol.
