It's great and all but is this really what people are learning in history during high-school? Because holy shit I feel dumb, in my school, history is mostly stuff like roots of religion, darwinism, neolithic era, some ancient empire, etc

I don't remember learning about the history of the Church of England in school but Calvinism and predestination definitely came up during religion classes

When I learned of the the Calvinists it was in the context of the upheaval following the Lutheran split.
My history book was more concerned with the conflict between groups and not what the specific beliefs of those groups were. This immediately followed into the 30 years war.
I suppose to me it just seems odd to teach something as specific as "The Act of Uniformity" in what would be a more general world history class. Unless you were in a class with a more narrow focus that just seems like it would be a odd thing to include.
