I don't like that the banter is mostly two or three of the same joke at the expense of the MC, and the manga dawdles on each joke, which kills the pace that you'd expect from casual banter.

Lol, great to see peeps sharing the enjoyment of the manga's banter. I enjoy even the MC's monologue for whatever reason. Maybe I'm just a weirdo just like him.

And funny enough, I have the same opinion as Chronigan here about banter. I actually enjoy seeing our MC being the butt of the joke.

Bro, wolf-chan ha sumashitai's banter isn't that good in an entertaining way for me. [※ Truthfully speaking, I wanted to say shit's mid AF]

To answer why, it's because it just feels like the power dynamifs is just too heavy on the female MC, as the male lead is a bit too dumb dumb.

Whereas for this manga, everyone's have their sassy moments, including the male MC, which made the banter fresh and funny, and I could see my friends and I joking around just like them too.

Thats not a lone wolf, she jus a classical tsundere acting like a lone wolf hiding the romance that she has for the male character

This "ex-lone wolf" in exchange has not interest for the females characters, but al least is not a simp like the isekais MC characters that all the girls are in love for him an he is just a stupid that can not differenciate between love and care

Well, it's the author's fault for not monetizing his work... though the publisher is a big-ass corporate thief.

As for this one, the final volume 2, even the author has an afterword and tells how he enjoys blah blah blah, and confirms it is his last. After FIVE years of contemplating, I surmise the author just quit while he's ahead. Unlike the author of Goblin Slayer who just dropped the ball after saying something about working on a new project on his afterword. Kumo Yagyu should have admitted that GS is now fulfilled and must admit he drops the series himself after volume 16. GS cannot beat Space Dandy after all.

Such a SHAME.

The LN was axed. Thats why a lot of people (myself included) are concerned about what will happen when the manga gets to adapt what remains of the source



I checked and it's in the middle of vol 2 ch 3 (Novel ended at vol 2 ch 4). There is just one chapter and a half left to adapt

Oh that's cooked. The original author is writing another story at this point according to his Twitter, so I think the manga will wrap up where the Light Novel did. If we're lucky we may get an extra epilogue style chapter.

Bit disappointing, but I think they ended in a decent place for a cancellation.

Nanamura is on the road to resolve his social issues that plagued his original life, already made 3 friends and several acquaintances, and they clear up the rumor about him being a creep so his reputation isn't bad anymore, and his first year of HS ends.

The hints of romance were cute, but the main issue was he can't legitimately be in a romantic relationship before he addresses his personal issues.
