Holy shit this really turns into hachiman-style high school bs drama manga.

I'm dropping it, the premise used to be fun but now it's just.... Ehhhh.....

Bitch she's your friend. Ask why she's down, why are you dumping this all on the mc. I might be running out of patience with this manga.
Because Author needs to put the MC in action.

The problem is, someone like MC IRL has no actual interest in other people, so they would never actually agree to help with this kind of bullshit and never put themselves in this position to begin with.

The author wanted to make a character based on Hikigaya from Oregairu. But the main thing that is different from both characters is that Hikigaya never had a problem talking to other people when they interacted with him, he's just traumatized by things here and there and can't trust other people, however he does want genuine interactions. But here in this manga, we know that the MC on his own would never want to be friends with any of these characters, he's just being forced to interact and can't refuse because he's a people pleaser.

That's Oregairu if you throw in the trash everything good and just keep the character archetypes and romance tropes

I just want me Gyaru to smile again (and to win eventually it that’s just me)
hardly likely, once again only moving because Hanamitsuji, friend asked to help her regain her smile and then he moves, ffs.

I have been saying that for over a decade :pacman:, but srsly it really wants to be oregairu
Jesus what a fucking drag of a friend, get rid of her already

Thanks for the chapter!
it's their canon event not being friends, like b!tch just searches for ideas to get mad at hoshigasaki, like maybe instead of karaoke why not invite your friends that is doing bad in class to study, not that hard, I did it for my friends at the time.

Honestly highschooler shit. Wait until she goes into the real world thinking that friendships are something that mandate constant attention. Ha! If I was nakamura I would call her out and ask if she was her friend or some jealous girlfriend.

I feel like this is a five second conversation with that one bitchy friend who she honestly shouldn't be friends with. Actually she shouldn't be friends with any of those girls. The other girls are just such background characters and doing whatever the one annoying one says. And I don't know if the author realizes, but the said bitchy friend is clearly projecting her own issues and insecurities and taking it out of others and that's getting annoying. You're not beholden to explain why you're doing stuff outside of a friend group. Especially when they can see what you're doing on display and even the results of what you're doing (like there was phsycisl acknowledgment that the grades were better and yet part of the argument was not attending Karaoke instead of studying??).

This is just dumb. Like, not in a good one. And supposedly in the original timeline they broke ties just from having seen a light novel fall out of her bookbag and it was so bad she stopped going to school all together... WTF?? What is this author even trying to say. These are terrible people yet the story keeps trying to pretend they're being completely reasonable. Like the MC comes off as an idiot and apologizer when he thinks "yeah, the innocent one is partly to blame for not giving her friends a reason why she wanted to join a committee to help make our school festival the best it can be and (I guess) not asking for permission to study with the smartest people in class to prevent failing."

Good friendships do mandate CONSISTENT attention (just like promising to meet once a month or having stuff planned), but God this "your whole world better revolve around this one friend group or you're a terrible person" shit is just awful. I don't even remember high schoolers being this clingy (but that's just my experience and idk why the female friend groups were like).

Not gonna lie pretty sure we know this is a shit friend. In the first go round didn’t Hoshigasaki become a recluse because of a falling out with her friends? Seems like this specific girl just doesn’t like her and only kept her close because others did.
It's less dislike and more her being immature....

She also ended up being a recluse after feeling guilty for what she did....

That said, she's a toxic friend...

It should be noted her life was ruined too, because of her guilt.... She's not a bad person, but she is toxic....

It's her immaturity that's the issue....

She just isn't mature enough and ends up being toxic
