Huh. She would've been a mana battery for whoever the empire's best fighter was; that just happened to be a hot wolf girl and not something gross.
And she turned out to be a lesbian masochist. So she didn't ask for it but she wound up liking it. I do want to know what else the saint got from the arrangement besides wild nights.
Hmmm.
Was the wolf executed because someone of higher standing wanted the Saint as their own mana battery? We don't know yet what happened to the Saint after her top died.
My assumption is that the Saintess's original country ultimately won the war against the Wolf's empire... or at least, a crucial battle that let them take back the Saintess and capture the feared wolf warrior who had her captive. Then they ignored the Saintess' protests against executing her slave-master because of the logical inference that she wasn't mentally sound after everything she'd been through.
And now, in the next life? Now she can look back at everything with a different perspective and modern values. There were good times too (according to the flashbacks in this chapter), but the entire relationship is tainted by the lack of consent. Where should things go, then? Nowhere without proper communication.
Complicating things is that the two of them reincarnated differently. One was born properly and grew up again in this world - but retaining her old memories and some of her power. The other had a fake death that dumped her here mostly as she was, as part of some wider supernatural phenomena.
