Decent, 8/10. (Time of review: 4 chapters)
Tl;Dr: Fairly alright plot. High quality art. (As of now) Somewhat bland characters. Generic setting.
Plot:
Our protagonist reincarnates from a world of fantasy to modern times. She attempts to forget her past, but can't seem to forget a loved one. Said loved one also reincarnates, searching for our protagonist.
I don't want to make any early judgements, so all speculation is spoilered. I will say one thing. If this story panders to cliches, it goes down to 7.5: a good read, but nothing phenomenal. If it does not, it goes to a 9: an easy recommend.
Hypothesis: This story will probably prefer to focus on funny/adorable moments between the protagonist and her partner. I hope that the author will not disregard the "main" story in favor of fluff, but that's my hunch on how this story is going to go.
Characters:
The characters exist, that's for sure. I can't speak to their quality, as they feel more than a little flat in some cases. Perhaps it will get better, but that's something that I will have to speak for in a later review.
Art:
The art is top tier. However, there is quite blatant usage of real world assets and cgi, which is fairly immersion breaking at times. I suspect the publisher is pushing the artist for speed, which I feel is detrimental in this case.
Setting:
Fairly standard. It's set in the modern day, while the fantasy world was more medieaval .
"Plot":
Don't get your hopes up. China doesn't allow straight stuff, let alone homosexuality. It's a miracle they've been allowed to get away with this much so far.
