I am loving this new subgenre of "smug girl gets tables turned on her" romcoms.

@KiTA -- yep. I've seen far too many "Let's push the lonely guy around until he walks on my leach (lead)" Manga to make me ill for a lifetime.

I realize that "humour is subjective." But we tend to get subjected to a lot of non-humor that's passed off as such. This is currently my second favorite active Manga.

@KiTA : Be gentle with me:

Tonikaku Kawaii

It was a somewhat confusing story at first. If you're not familiar with it, let's say it's worth the reading. Though I've made some comments in various chapters, I've grown very fond of the main characters and their love for each other.

My first Manga ratings-wise is Kaguya-sama Wants to be Confessed to, a.k.a., Love Is War. There seems to be a connection between Love Is War and Tonikaku Cawaii. They're both comedies, both have fun narrators that interject witty comments, but Tonikaku Cawaii has a generous amount of fourth wall breaking that Love is War only enjoys in the tiniest of sprinkles.

EDIT: Having binged on Tokikaku Cawaii ... I've sadly dropped the title. It's become too much of a one-trick pony. However, I tucked Shikimori's Not Just Cute into my list of reads. And this title has risen to the top for the moment. It's one of those "just ONE more chapter" deals. ... 15 chapters later... :D

I love the MC. He's pretty chill.

He's the type we need, we all see inferior male Kuuderes but none are executed properly

He knows what he wants is not afraid
