this is a pretty standard fantasy story stakes. watch this, author is gonna make the mc state "this place is my ancestor's homeland, and this crest is the royal crest"

Why did the title just shift from being listed in English to being listed in transliterated Japanese (ie Japanese words written with the roman alphabet)?

I hate that this is apparently being standardized across the site. I can't remember the names of more than a handful of series by their Japanese titles, especially when they're the usual extra-loooooooong title. So now my followed feed is basically "what was that one again?" if I don't recognize the cover art.

And I know this just happened because when the latest chapter went live it was still showing the title in English.

Titles on followed feeds should default to the title translation given in the user's chosen interface language. Transliterated Japanese should only be the default if you're browsing the site in a language that doesn't have a title translation for that particular series.

Agreed, it really threw me off when all my manga shifted to their Japanese names, yeah, I can still sort of understand it, but I'd rather just read the title I'm familiar with. Not to mention I'd be totally lost if they did the same to Chinese or Korean comics.
