I really like the series and the mysterious part with the ancient civilization but there was just too much exaggerated stuff in the arc. It went from a nice slice of life mining and building a city to 5000 chimeras, mystical androids and soul takeover out of nowhere. So the next arc will be that his stupid brother will release the black calamity again? But aren't they all decendants from the ancient civilization if their crests were developed there or did she mean that the crests magically appear on random persons all over the world once the holder dies? And why did nobody ever take some of their tecnologies to other islands when the were trading or escaping?

I read a lot of people angry at the pase of this manga, giving my 2 cents, reading it all at once is not that baaad.
And seeing the real reason of the island be this epic old civ is great imo
