Jokes aside, I do love cats tho and the authors interpretation on a cat's inner voice is pretty right on target,

Other than a "domesticated-was feral" cat care for its owner's wellbeing...those cats are selfish prick (being a feral, law of the jungle and shit) and only give a shit about the owner for food, and maybe snuggle a bit for warmth/neck scratches, but they won't care for your wellbeing like haru. I still dig em tho...cute lil bugger.
