Makes sense, after all, what story is there to tell after the parents have reunited with the Hero they wanted to slap some sense into? The whole premise of this story is the journey the parents have to make to find the kid that's gone rouge and is causing problems for everyone where he goes, if they're not that far behind and catch up to him in 10 chapters, there isn't much to do after that besides wrap it up.

I was really hoping the parents chasing down and beating their son would at least be an ongoing theme. The cop out that he's mind controlled closed the story too early.

I guess the parents are so OP, they outpaced the plot and the story. Heck the story might as well end because they left their world and dimension behind to fight the new enemy.

It would at least have been some sort of a ridiculous ending had that been the case (better than nothing that we got here).

I know it's common to set up another arc as a teaser to get people to buy the LN/whatever you're advertising, but it feels a bit funny to have like, 4 chaps of buildup to an axe. Usually they just like, tease a new arc in the final chapter, or something.
