Just when you thought she'd finally have no choice but to accept the obvious reality looming over her, the hamster takes a hard right straight back into denialism. What a power play. Things aren't looking good out here, folks.
In all seriousness, there's a couple ways this could hash out. If Minami just bursts into tears from Yuzu's rejection then and there, the misunderstanding will be cleared up immediately. If Minami tries to be polite about it though, and avoids making a scene in front of Yuzu, their misunderstanding could be drawn out for quite a while longer. Which could be a bit annoying to some people. On the other hand, in this scenario they'd both believe the other had rejected them once and that hoping for anything more in their relationship would just be an invitation to disappointment. Which would be just, too rich for words. They could even switch back to Minami's perspective for an arc as she develops the same pessimistic love denialism complex as Yuzu, and they could spend another dozen chapters hopelessly orbiting each other with a negative chance of a collision. That would be hilarious.
