Ahhh I really really like this manga but between the abrupt ending announcement and the fact that this  really should've been the confession that worked it's hard to envision a satisfying ending to it within 2 chapters sadly.
Hope the author had lot of notice about Ch. 28 being the end but considering they only announced it (I think) after Ch. 26 it seems that might not have been the case

Given where we are story wise this smells of an axe. Like the setup is maybe not an entire volumes worth of melodrama but definitely more than 2 chapters. I suspect the author intended to do more with this but genuinely just ran out of time. Which sucks because it makes the clear play at delayed gratification just not very fun.

To add our token useless lesbian clearly has some issues with how she sees herself and her idkwtf-ship that she’s in and it’s clear the manga wants a while to iron those out as genuine character growth. Given the lack of time I don’t think we get that and either the author rushed the confession like crazy or literally doesn’t run a confession and we genuinely get yuri baited not out of author intent but time and an axe.

Idk how i feel about this manga anymore, 2 chapters left, minami literally straight up says i want you for Christmas, leans in for kiss and gets almost violently shoved back like in the stories where the 2nd LI tries to push thier luck. And we still want MINAMI to confess??? Thats just a straight up rejection to me, yuzus little "rejection" when they were tots doesn't even compare
Author either dropped the ball or got scammed its definitely both because if the plan was this still happening plus alot more chapters and volumes after... i would have probably dropped it. Enjoyed some moments but wish i could have seen them together but i guess thats what the other manga is for??? Me spitballing logic but i don't get it

This ending in 2 chapters really takes it from "Frustrating, but I get it, so I'll keep reading in hopes for the pay off of what comes after it finally happens." to just being frustrating. I have a high tolerance for slow progression, but this is just not very fun to sit through and read. Hopefully the last two chapters make up for it.
