Twin Brother is crazy jealous into College Gal/FMC, has confessed multiple times, she has rejected him every time and is pretty much Yandere Into MC (takes his phone in ch. 2 and deletes every girl from his contacts except her and his mom, including Younger Sister's contact info), before installing a GPS tracking app without his knowledge.

MC is terrified of Twin Brother's jealousy, and is also stupidly dense that FMC likes him. Keeps pining for Little Sister, who only has eyes for Twin Brother (like every other person in MC's life except for FMC)

FMC is in the phase of "teasing and being pushy" with FMC and can't come out and just tell him she likes him - probably because at this point he'd be too cucked to believe it, and he'd also reject her because he's terrified of perfect Twin Brother.

MC saw Little Sister and Twin Brother on a date in the previous chapter, saw her look at him making "a face I've never seen her make before (super lovey dovey) and he had his Big Cuck Moment of Sadness before FMC showed up, called herself his GF in front of his small friend group he'd left behind to sulk, and then called Little Sister / Twin Brother to initiate the events of this chapter.

Knowing that, her actions in this chapter combined with previous chapters context are tainted to be a bit more manipulative on messing with MC's mind when it comes to her younger sister. Her main motivation for her teasing is not for amusement from reactions, but for the reason of getting him to stop looking at her sister and to look at her instead. She's also trying to setup the brother with her sister for the sake of getting MC to look at her. I think she's not being completely truthful with MC because she wants him to make the choice to choose her without her outwardly forcing him to decide. She's probably also scared of being rejected if she doesn't change his feelings about her younger sister.

Anyway point is that the chapter takes a different view when knowing the manipulation and obsession of the older sister, rather than her seeming to just coincidentally do things and be random.

If you're asking for spoilers, then after perusing the WN because I need to know how bad this gets, I have found that it actually happens in ch 30, which event-wise might be around 3-5 chapters from this point in the manga, depending on how truncated the sequence of events following this meetup go. And, true to form, he's so convinced that he's a pile of unworthiness compared to his brother that he's dumbfounded by her direct confession to him.

So the site where I can read it has 92 chapters so far, so that's not bad honestly. Self esteem can be fixed over time, I mean it's her, which means plenty of story for them to grow together. It was the one thing stopping me from reading the WN, because I'm not thst much of a fan of "they finally get together... in the last chapter" kinds of stories.

That's my thinking too. Haven't read it yet but ideally... Dude has so low self esteem that even Kano's advances are far beyond his fathom simply because he's been compared his entire life to his brother, and his crush loving his brother instead was the final crack to do him in. His romcom protagonist disease as they call it is frustrating, but it's also understandable too.


So again, ideally, once he finally get over this hump and legit get with Kano, I'm thinking maybe that's when we start seeing growth for him happen? And it seems she's doing everything possible to get him there, even forcing a double date so he can see the reality of his crush fawning over his brother. Ruthless, but damn effective.

yeah - she's made no effort to come out and just say what she feels for him, and that's with knowing how dense he is. And with the added wrinkle of Yuito being terrified of his brother's (apparent) temper when it comes to anything potentially getting between him and Kano, I can see why Yuito's fully just shutting down even entertaining the thought that Kano means what she's saying/doing to him.

I imagine that pattern won't run for too much longer, though.

I don't think Kano is "cucking" the ML's brother. She just .....doesn't like him, but he's being super aggressively jealous and possessive over the idea of being the one to date her.

The younger sister's just an idiot who likes the brother and doesn't realize that he likes her sister, nor does she realize that the ML likes her because he never confessed and now that he knows she likes his brother he feels like he's bound to lose and has just given up hope.

It's not really that anyone's "cucking" anyone else, it's just a dumb unrequited love quadrangle where no one is actually telling anyone else that they like them.
