If you've seen the Anime special, it's mostly the same stuff, but in still images, so you can take your time to stop and look at everything if you want.

Tarble's design is better in this one compared to the anime.

Tarbel looks a lot more like Vegeta here, and less like Cabbe 2.0 but overall the manga doesn't really add anything to the anime.

Actually the anime was better - because the whole cast got a shining moment whereas here Yamcha etc are just background characters again.
