I don't think so, the other car has a ball shaped thing on top of it and the tire marks are consistent with him turning to avoid the guy crossing the road.

Was Lily♪'s kindness to Kitami all an act?
How did Lily♪ even find out that Kitami killed Huntaway in the first place?
Given the state's favour for aliens, why didn't Lily♪ just report Kitami to the police?

I like that the Lily's confessional scene can be taken both way- He knew that Nomamoto was the killer and he wanted to end everything while taking Nomamoto out with him.

But it can also be taken as Lily opening up to him and confide in Nomamoto about how he is just a coward deep within who is just too scared to face the consequences of the action he's ready to commit.

Why he got such a big and thick alien death boner, that’s like re5 levels of ignoring conservation of mass, it’s a girthy telephone pole of dead alien

More credence to the theory alien flesh has strange densities, to be able to be eaten in such volumes, or be taken down with a single punch, etc

Much as I enjoy seeing someone spiral down into uncontrolled paranoid psychosis... I kinda want the story to get back to Nomamoto. So I can't say I'm all that concerned for Kitami's well being lol.
