He never knew the details behind what happened and why was his sister killed. So all the hate Lily has toward him is unfounded. But then again, this is a guy who also shoot unarmed civilians so... yeah...

Man, this just keeps ramping up. Lily is in the right in terms of emotions at least, but jeez. It's hard to root for anyone at this point; EVERYONE is bad to some degree. I think that's the charm here.

Because he's making feel Lilly pain.

Lilly relies on his anger to ward off the grief. He isn't interested in the broader details of what exactly led to his brothers demise, he just wants a scapegoat he can blame because it's easier to handle the anger than the grief.

Seeing Seiran mourn for Soyo the same way Lilly does for Lally is a huge WTF moment to Lilly, because it humanizes Soyo. It causes a massive cognitive dissonance because he can't empathize with Seiran and view Soyo as absolute evil at the same time.

Being warranted or not has nothing to do with it. It's about what Lilly can do.

But think Lily reasons why hates Kitami because he was never close to Soyo, so he never saw who she really was.
When Lilly cared for his little brother more than anyone and they were always honest with eachother. Soyo lied to everyone, even her own family; she was false, cruel, and just evil.
Kitami tries to take vengeance for someon who, in Lilly's eyes, never existed as true person.
Lilly took vengeance for his little brother, who was honest, kind, and shy and wouldn't ever hurt anyone like that manipulative two-faced piece of shit that Soyo was.
Lilly hates Kitami because Lilly feels sick about the murders he committed against humans who showed their true, cruel side to a kind and gentle soul, who was his little brother. When Kitami has zero remorse about murdering aliens for reasons that aren't aligned with the truth about his sister.

Woah woah woah Soyo never lied to her family and like Kitami said what if Lilly's lying. Alot of this is assumptions. We don't know Kitami's backstory enough to say if he was close with his sister or not.
