Even if she was just a traitorous dum dum, she would still be useful to Kitami, so I doubt he would want her dead. He would be able to control her after all, if the only thing that matters to her is her cravings for alien snacks. I hope that isn't the case though, since it could make both her as a character and her relationship with Kitami pretty boring.

Also how can MC still eat after eating like 3 aliens? Shes got to have an alien tapeworm or some shit.

I think it's interesting that their chaperoné says the same thing Kitami did 2 chapters ago; that wiping them all out is impossible. Our boy knows that, but Kitami pretends that it is their "shared dream" because he doesn't want to explain Nomamotos motivations, and also because he genuinely deluded himself into thinking it was a thing - because otherwise Nomamotos utter unfazedness at killing and eating people is too fucking weird for him. And he really wants to hang out with someone that might understand...

She didn't hate them that much to begin with. She was just annoyed with getting hit over nothing and being poor.




I suspect and predict that the author wants to make the point that while xenophobia might have real underlying causes, the people affected often take the wrong conclusions out of ignorance. Or they're just psychos like Nomamoto.

I don't know, she seemed pretty damn pissed off about the aliens and the inequality she suffers from. The first chapter made it quite obvious how cathartic it was, for her to find someone to talk trash with and be miserable together.

No, in ch. 2 Kitami killed 5 in one go with a hammer, but definitely not in one hit total, probably just one hit each. Also, they were civilians who he ambushed, not (presumably) trained bodyguards that are right behind him and prepared for any funny business.
