Not sure. Maybe 3 or 4 depending on the climax-ness. But I will make sure the last chapter of the mass drop is the right chapter to end it and not an intense cliffhanger.

Sometimes I forget Akira and co embarked on this nigh 100 chapter odyssey just to find a potion that can save one side character.

I hope we get some Akira x Aria romance when they get back.

Someone who is familiar with the author's previous works, help me understand something. I binge read the story and based on comments in other chapters, this entire story is a semi-sequel to a few of the author's other series that all ended the same way with the reveal that the world is a simulation run by omnipotent ancient aliens, who kill everyone and wipe the "server" in each series end after extracting something of value from it. Given how a previous chapter had an omniscient AI mainframe terminal in the moonlight dungeon where dude got soul, and this archmage spoke of "levels of understanding" two chapters ago or so, does it look like it's happening again? Is it worth getting further invested and continuing if history is going to repeat itself?

"Side character" is a bit harsh. She was practically the thirdmost-main character until the Oder infection took her out.

I'm not actually familiar with any of the author's previous works besides Freezing, and only by its former reputation, but the previous chapter definitely made it sound like Aria and now Ecuala think that Akira can break some cycle the world is stuck in.

I forgot how Ashley traveled to the sage's hut. Did she go alone or did the rest of her group die? I thought they said the forest is super dangerous and a Rainford as a guide is the only way to survive a trip

She might simply hand the potion over, but I reckon it's not so easy to leave that place. For all we know, it could be some other dimension altogether.

Ponkotsu Megami didn't end with world destruction (almost did.) If anything, the ending makes it clear that the romance and adventure would last forever across many different worlds, and that many things would repeat themselves, including heroes that would save them.

What's not clear (to me at least) here is if Drawing is the same timeline as Ponkotsu. The last time we see Equilar,
she is playing Captain Harlock and traveling across the galaxy in search of her wayward "son" Ikaru Enlil
. So maybe she got tired of that and decided to live the hut life. Perhaps we'll see.

She came alone. Equilar goaded her for that at one point. There was a panel that suggested Equilar intercepted Ashley at one of those underground labyrinths. The way she reacted to Miriane maybe hints she didn't go through the usual Rainford family channels to get permission to enter the forest.
