He's been such a coward in that sense the entire series and I thought he would finally stop taking everything like its the end of the world (which technically is related now). Him constantly showing that shocked or despairing face all the time just takes away from the seriousness of an actual serious matter.

It's the problem with omnipotence in alot of stories.
Omnipotence means mass, so destruction of the end would likely require destroying not only the end, but the world.
Especially if their goal is to "save" the end, which seems to be the implication here.

While it's interesting to consider the implications of omnipotence with these goddesses so augustly portrayed in a dignified way here, it might be worth noting that, in their earlier appearances in Lim Dall-young's other works, they're not nearly as smart as you might think, and not particularly good at their jobs. The creation goddess in particular is about at Aqua from KonoSuba's level.
