It's the problem with omnipotence in alot of stories.

To be fair, I think this is a clear case of god not being omnipotent. There isn't even one only goddess, but three of them, all necessary to create the universe. And Chaos alone can't rein in her creations. It something that clashes with modern religious ideas about omnipotence, but wouldn't feel out of place in ancient polytheistic pantheons where deities were never supposed to be omnipotent, omniscient or omnibenevolent.

I understand now, the reason why Chaos can't stop the END is because the Dal-Young verse is restricted by the inevitable power of the hiatus. No matter the world, the END will come!

Omnipotence means mass, so destruction of the end would likely require destroying not only the end, but the world.
Especially if their goal is to "save" the end, which seems to be the implication here.

It's the classic "Can God create a stone so heavy even He can't lift it" paradox. Turns out the answer is yes and now that stone is everyone's problem.

It's also possible that the goddesses are only omnipotent together, and Chaos working alone is what fucked things up here. It also sets up how to defeat/defuse Aria as a problem: combining her Chaos and Akira's Creation with Love, drawing power from all three goddesses.

Y'all need to read his other works (e.g., Ponkotsu Megami no Isekai Sousei-roku) to understand the ultimate goddesses' lore. The reason Chaos had to preserve this world, whatever the cost, was maybe because

Artesia (the goddess of creation) is already dead at the end of her manga, so the world can't be recreated anymore if Aria tries to destroy it.
