I think is because his summons don't have a will of their own, so he can just make it do whatever he wants, from what I remember regular summons are like tamed beasts, so you need mana to control

His power is purely limited by some random rules for what can exist in the world, and his imagination. We saw it earlier when he just decided to morph leviathan into a spear to defeat the dragon, his summons are fully controlled by him rather than a creature to give commands to (since they aren't really creatures in the first place(?) just magic creations)

As for the reason everyone's in a frenzy for more chapters... It's likely because of chapters 113+ being posted already. It's like putting up a beautiful dessert buffet in front of children, but then telling them they can't have any until they finish dinner. Only to not have dinner ready so they're just screaming for dinner to finish being cooked so they can hurry up and eat it so they can have dessert!
