Considering Al banged both the Empress and Princess at the same time he's probably the one who set up that trap that has someone stuck halfway through a wall naked along with something to prevent monster attacks. MC's storyline is probably defeated the Demon King, tried to return sword but either stuck to or always returned to him, Human King afraid of him because MC couldn't return sword and powerful enough to invade castle and kill him just like did with Demon King, and in a foul mood over Al banging his wife and daughter at same time along with guilt by association of MC being friends and in same party as Al. So sent assassins after MC, then used corpses with other trumped up charges to put bounty on MC's head.
In any case MC on run now and met a Demon Maid and Al in Demon Lord's dungeon. Wonder if will try to live quietly or get revenge? Usually trope is beautiful, young (age is 17-25 years old or looks that old despite being decades older,) daughter of Demon Lord down there too and get attracted to each other. Considering cover bet that female knight he met in cabin will return and other party members appearing at some point. Although whether as enemy or ally or something in between is a toss up. Wonder if other party members being hunted on trumped up charges too or left because disgusted with what happened to MC. Probably consider Al to be getting just desserts for fooling around without considering consequences for the umpteenth time.

Al the mage is from the Empire, and he did that to the imperial family.
Blum the Hero is appearantly affiliated with the kingdom, and there wasn't any mention of him having fun with the royal family.

The king probably didn't believe him when he said he couldn't return the holy sword, but believed he just wouldn't, and he thus became a possible problem for the future.
