That was from when Marcille became Lord of the Dungeon.Farlyn seems to be encased in ice, which to me seems like the result of the demon's curse rather than Laius losing his monster form.
there are other series with an incredible amount of world building such as dorohedoro, but this was definitely one of the bestMaaaaaaaaaaaan, I'm going to be so bummed once this ends.
This series has to be one of the most thoughtful series I've ever read when it comes to its worldbuilding. I don't think I'll ever find another author who looks into so much detail with almost everything in their original setting.
