Also, what if the dragon kept moving because it was afraid of a bigger predator? The orcs move above because of the dragon. Why else would the dragon move up?

Lol , Marcille was getting emotional too soon . From this point , the story could progress in 2 ways :

- They could defeat the dragon , but then they still had to eat the dragon and then eat monsters on their way up to the surface .
- The dragon could defeat them , and then they didnt have to worry about eating monsters anymore if they were inside the dragon's stomach , lol .

last page , panel 3 : they didnt say it , but the elf was actually casting protection spells on their bodies , so smoke was coming out of their bodies .

also note that in chapter 21 , marcille was wearing a shirt and a white pants , but then they were stuck with the bloody skin of giant frog , so she burned down those clothes , lol , and in this chapter , she wears a new long skirt :

Defensive? More like boring. The breading absolutely adds to it and it's fried in oil, not fat.

It adds calories, lots of them. Fat is very calorie dense. If you're going to be doing a lot of heavy activity, you need lots of calories. Also, most people find that fried foods taste good to them and enjoy the crunch.
