Hmmm, so Laius hasn't seen his parents in over a decade. Interesting. Sounds like he left home pretty young. We know Laius is at least younger than Chilchak's 28 (ch13, 'mister chilchak'). Ch22 gives Farlyn's age as 'supposed to be 20', and the mini artbook has Laius as three years older, so around 23 is a decent guess. So the last time Laius saw his folks, he was somewhere between 13 and 18, maybe even younger. Did he get sent to the school/army and just never returned? Hmm.
