Because of a post on Reddit, I've read the first chapter a second time, and there is a mention there of alks, people with silver hair, and how one of them in the past sided with the demons.

Now that the MC has been transported in the past, could it be that he'll be the one to help the demon and start the history of hatred against people with silver hair?
