Man, this party commits the most rookie mistake of rookie mistakes. There is no such thing as untouchable, unkillable or anything like it. Just because one party member is amazing at everything, that does not mean that you should never consider preparing for the absolute worst outcome that can happen.
You know what this reminds me of?
This reminds me of the first chapter of Goblin Slayer. A party containing all rookies getting murdered and raped by goblins due to a lack of preparation and experience. At least that all rookies party had an excuse for their incompetence, and they met their demise because of it. What the hell is the team of experienced veterans excuse?
You're absolutely right. It's a rookie mistake that sprouts from them thinking they're way past the rookie level, and treating the "nearly 100%" as "guaranteed 100%".
Sure, in their defense, I agree that bringing three dozen different antidotes "just in case" was deemed inefficient (I guess there's no cure-all here). IF THEY HAD ONLY STOPPED AT THE KNOWN LEVELS. The problem is, they got kinda high on success and launched a pretty risky investigation beyond their initial plans, undergeared and unprepared.
i fucking swear this mf berry girl just wasted the damn medicine. i thought i was gonna see some kind of goblin slayer vet level strats and preps when i started reading this but noooo just some rookie playing veteran just because they finished some already mapped dungeons.
This girl really didn't learn to stop when told after the explosion..
Her wasting the last of the medicine was already a best case scenario, what if it had been a case that giving too much would have been dangerous? Why is she still screwing around in this situation
This is so inconsistent. Aside from the already mentioned no plan B issue, isn't Rou the devil-chan, who starts selling potions to adventurers at double the price deep in the dungeon? The first chapter established that as his method of increasing his income, in a legal but kind of unscrupulous way. Even his little sister knew about it. Yet now, suddenly, he has got next to nothing to offer. What the heck is his huge backpack full of?
