The crossdressing/inn part shouldn't take more than 1 or 2 chapters even if they stretch it out.

I do agree with this to an extent. I think this as like I’m seeing it through a random person perspective. Like most people won’t do anything he’s doing but idk maybe someone does do that. Either that or I just love slop. Like I never thought once, hey that’s out of character for any character. And I read this series in like three days.

But from what I heard right now in the forum about the web novel. Yea it sounds bad, I hope it changes somewhat if that’s what it is. Also need more information on like where to check it out, go to forums talking about it and how bad it is, and even the story itself. I just have to read it now!

It was a decent read at the very least, but not even a gooning material, because they skip the seggs.

NGL, I like Mina's character. I really hoped MC could create a harem with her in it, but alas, this series was just so bad in creating itself a decent world building.

Goodbye to Cecily. She was really never fit to be with MC because our protagonist is a lewd wuss who only goes inside a woman's heart whenever he would want to, but scared to commit when the time counts. Also, Cecily is too livid to her nation and princess that the man she loves, and even the man who saved her life. What MC did for her was fucking not enough to satisfy her, so she left just like that?!
Maybe she wants to be stopped by MC after her confession to go with the princess, but it looks like the author has no plan making MC stick to Cecily.

That's it folks. We are only 1 or 2 chapters away from the point in the WN story where it goes completely off-rails - to the point the author decided to delete tons of chapters and restart again from there.

Then the new re-write turned out even worse - lazily written without any motivation at all. Very sparse, short chapters with mostly pointless monologue and very little to no development at all - plus it was somehow going in an even more (predictably) boring route than the original deleted work! Best part, he stopped writing as soon as he started and hasn't written anything since 2024.

Couldn't find anything about the LN - either its more updated and actively being worked on or this manga is gonna get a shitty ending soon.

Legitimately I'd love to see this story reach its conclusion, not for any other reason than that I've really enjoyed reading the web novel translation, and would love to see what happens in the end if Shirou returns the staff or if he reunites with Chris or anything else beyond where the wn translation ends off. Personally I love gender role reversal stories though they are so few, this one had the highest potential and its a shame to see its downfall by the author's own lack of interested and bad choices.
